The cottage is very close to the estuary shore, beautiful countryside, and our dog enjoyed the walks. Very cosy cottage, warm and comfortable; we really loved the wood burner in the living room. Extremely well-equipped, nicely furnished; we appreciated the two spacious bathrooms, also the lovely welcome hamper - best we've ever had! Friendly and helpful owners, all in all a fabulous place to stay and we look forward to returning next year.

What a wonderful place to stay. The house is perfect, spacious and yet so cosy. Comfortable sitting room with a light, bright and modern kitchen diner. Three bedrooms with a large bathroom upstairs. The bath is the perfect size for a relaxing bubble bath. Downstairs is a modern shower room too. The kitchen has new oven and hob as well as a mini dishwasher, there is a washing machine in a little laundry room. There is a kettle and toaster but no microwave. I liked the DAB radio. I like having music while I'm in the kitchen. The sofas are comfortable and there is plenty of room for five people. We don't really watch TV but there is a large flat screen. There are books of every possible interest from novels to war history! There are plenty of games and activities should the weather be grim. The garden is amazing. It wasn't the right time of year but I imagine it's stunning in the summer, so much space, beautifully planted with plenty of space to sit out. The owners live next door and were kind and happy to help. I felt very welcome. The area is stunning with walks from the doorstep. The owners have thoughtfully left examples to get you started. If you wants shops and pubs and night life, it's not for you but if you want a perfect cottage in a quiet place with views and walks plenty of fresh air you will find this is just the place. We can't wait to go back again in the spring

Good location being close to the river, lots of walks in the vicinity whilst easy access to Ipswich. The cottage was very well equipped. Comfortable bed and plenty of room for 2 whilst the welcome hamper and flowers were very much appreciated. Anna was very welcoming and helpful in making recommendations for places to visit. Would highly recommend and would have no hesitation in returning.
