The location is frequently celebrated for its convenience to Snape Maltings, local pubs, and beauty spots. However, a few guests mention road noise, which slightly impacts the score.

We had a lovely stay at Box Cottage.

A cosy, well located, warm and comfortable cottage with everything you could need included. Log burner was a lovely addition on the one cold day we had. Lots of thoughtful touches including the welcome hamper, tourist information and maps, entertainment- books/dvds/games etc. Two local pubs across the road (although Crown was closed whilst we were there) offering great food. Ideally situated for exploring Suffolk. We had some fabulous days out. We didn’t use the garden facilities but there are seats/tables. The cottage is close to a busy main road which potential visitors need to be aware of as imagine in the Summer months it could be noisy but after getting used to it the sound of traffic didn’t bother us or disturb our sleep. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend to others. Thank you

The cottage was very well presented and clean and attractive. There was a lovely walk very nearby and the Maltings with all the shops and cafe was also an easy walk. The house did need the heaters on but once turned on it warmed up well.
