Guests say

Guests consistently praise the Horseshoe Cottage for its comfortable accommodations, beautiful and tranquil setting, and thoughtful touches such as welcome gifts. The property's single-level layout is appreciated by those with mobility issues, and the surrounding grounds with a pond and wildlife add to the charm. The location is ideal for exploring Suffolk's coast and historical sites. While some minor maintenance issues are noted, the overall experience is highly regarded, with many guests expressing a desire to return.

The cottage is frequently described as clean and well-presented, suggesting a high standard of cleanliness. There are no significant complaints regarding cleanliness, indicating that guests are generally satisfied with the condition of the property upon arrival.

The location is highly praised for its beauty, tranquility, and convenience for visiting both the Suffolk coast and historical sites. The peaceful environment and proximity to nature are recurring highlights in guest reviews.

Comfort is well-regarded, with guests finding the property well set-up and the beds comfortable. However, there is a mention of a less comfortable twin bed and low sofas that were difficult for a disabled guest, slightly affecting the score.

Facilities like the games room, laundry room, and children's play area are appreciated. However, some guests mention the need for maintenance, such as renewing oven trays, improving the shower, and attending to the exterior woodwork, which impacts the score.

Guests frequently mention thoughtful gestures, including welcome gifts of bread, milk, and biscuits. While these gifts are warmly received, it should be noted that such personal touches, though common, are not guaranteed for every stay.

Also close to the coast & beautiful seaside towns. We loved it, our only problem was because I am disabled I struggled with the low comfy sofas. Other than that it was perfect . Barbara Dawes

This was with Vodafone. Other networks might have been better. I suppose this is only to be expected as the cottage which is amongst the best we have ever been to in 12 years is in a beautiful setting in the middle of nowhere.
