Little Turnpike Cottage in Melton, Woodbridge, is praised for its convenient location, attractive and cosy ambiance, and thoughtful touches like a welcome bottle of wine and snacks. Guests appreciate the property's cleanliness, comfort, and the enclosed garden, especially those with pets. While some maintenance issues are noted, the cottage's charm and proximity to local amenities make it a popular choice for a peaceful stay.

The cottage generally receives positive remarks for cleanliness, with guests finding it welcoming and tidy upon arrival. However, some guests mention the need for a deeper clean, with occasional reports of dust, cobwebs, and unclean kitchenware, slightly lowering the score.

The location is highly praised for being peaceful yet within walking distance to Woodbridge and local amenities. The proximity to footpaths and the town centre, along with enclosed garden space, is appreciated by guests with pets.

Guests find the cottage comfortable, with cosy rooms and comfortable beds. Some concerns about heating and a damp issue in one room are noted, but overall, the property is regarded as warm and inviting.

The cottage is well-equipped for self-catering and has received repeat visits. However, recurring maintenance issues such as loose toilet seats, incorrect WiFi information, and outdated directions slightly detract from the experience.

Guests mention thoughtful gestures like a welcome bottle of wine and snacks, which contribute to the cottage's welcoming atmosphere. While these gifts are appreciated, it is noted that such personal touches are subject to change and not guaranteed.

The cottage is clean, comfortable, well maintained and in a good position to walk into Woodbridge. Everything is provided, yet it’s uncluttered. Would highly recommend this Cottage and we ourselves will return soon. Many thanks to the owner for sharing their delightful gem.

We often stay in Woodbridge to visit family but this has to be the best accommodation we have ever stayed in. The location was perfect, peaceful and private yet with in walking distance of Woodbridge. The cottage was beautifully equipped and we had everything we needed for our stay. The bedrooms were so warm and comfortable. We will definitely book again next time we are visiting family
