Guests say

Church Farmhouse in Cookley is highly praised for its spaciousness, historical charm, and peaceful countryside setting. Guests appreciate the well-equipped facilities, including a games room and comfortable furnishings. The warm welcomes with thoughtful touches like Prosecco and cake are fondly noted, though these are not guaranteed. The property's cleanliness and maintenance receive positive remarks, despite a few mentions of mustiness and minor issues during wet weather.

Reviews consistently mention the property being very clean upon arrival, indicating high standards of cleanliness. A single mention of a musty smell suggests a minor issue, possibly due to the property's age, but this does not detract significantly from the overall positive feedback.

The location is frequently described as perfect, peaceful, and beautiful, with easy access to local attractions and countryside walks. The proximity to towns like Halesworth for amenities and the Suffolk coast for exploration contributes to the high score.

Guests find the beds comfortable and the garden ideal for relaxation. There are mentions of the property being hard to warm and some discomfort from a rough carpet, but overall, the farmhouse is considered comfortable with ample space for guests.

The farmhouse is well-equipped with a games room and spacious garden, though there are comments about the lack of a second TV and difficulties during wet weather. The need for more outdoor lighting and an updated TV remote are noted, indicating room for improvement.

While guests are delighted by the welcome gifts and essentials provided, such as cake and Prosecco, these are personal touches that may not be consistently offered. As there is no guarantee of these gifts for future guests, a score cannot be accurately provided.

The games room was a great amenity for us to enjoy too. The house was very clean when we arrived and Janet and David (the housekeepers) were very helpful and friendly. We would definitely hope to book again in the future.

Property would benefit with local amenities info pack. Updated TV remote & more outside lighting would help.

The weather was great as an added bonus but I do think that was out of your control!
