We loved the location of Ivy Cottage as it was close to the Common, shops, pubs and the beach. The lounge was large enough for 5 adults and 2 children but unfortunately, the kitchen was not! However, it had everything we needed in terms of equipment. The outside dining space was used every day (the weather allowed for this!) and the shed was really useful as we were able to store all of our beach things in it. The downstairs bathroom was a good size and there was plenty of hot water. The agents were told of the blocked drain in the shower upstairs. We would certainly use Ivy Cottage again whilst the grandchildren are still young enough to fit the bunk beds! We all had a wonderful family holiday and Southwold didn't disappoint. Of course, the weather helped, but even if the weather is bad, there is so much to do that you could never get bored.

Excellent location, very close to beach and town. Comfortable beds and sofa and nice outside space with large table and chairs. For dog owners; note it’s not enclosed between back door and outside enclosed area and no grass, but can leave top of stable door open rather than whole door for unreliable dogs or small children. . 2 minute walk to grassy area. Lovely walks close by.
