Guests say

Denbigh Hall is a well-received cottage in Herefordshire, praised for its beautiful, tranquil setting and well-maintained, historic charm. Guests appreciate the comfortable furnishings, spacious garden, and the cottage's suitability for peaceful retreats. The property's authentic features and modern amenities, including a well-equipped kitchen and reliable Wi-Fi, contribute to a delightful stay, despite some noting low doorways and staircases as quirky challenges.

The property generally receives positive remarks on cleanliness, with guests leaving it 'sparkling clean'. However, there was a mention of a mix-up with the cleaning booking and an unwashed dishcloth, suggesting occasional oversights.

The location is highly praised for its quietness, peacefulness, and beautiful surroundings, with no passing traffic and excellent walking opportunities directly from the property.

Guests find the beds comfortable and the cottage warm, with a cosy wood burner enhancing the experience. However, the low doorways and uneven floors, while adding character, have been noted as inconvenient for some.

The cottage is well-equipped with kitchen essentials and has good Wi-Fi and TV. Some guests mentioned issues with water pressure, a radiator not fixed, and a lack of wood for the stove, indicating room for improvement in maintenance.

While some guests mentioned the lack of a welcome pack and basic provisions, there is no consistent reference to gifts or extra touches of thoughtfulness that would warrant a score in this category.

Beautiful garden, very well stocked kitchen, good showers & we enjoyed the log burner. The smoke detectors gave us a fright when using the toaster on our first morning but we sorted it by opening the window & closing the kitchen door. The pillows caused us a few problems as they were feather & my husband is allergic.

Lovely woodland walks, which we enjoyed with the dog. A fine big enclosed garden which was ideal for playing lots of outdoor games. Would definitely recommend and stay again!
