For a leisurely afternoon, stroll along the River Wye which flows alongside the village before looping through picturesque Herefordshire countryside, test your angling skills with a bit of fishing, canoeing or paddle boarding, or hire a bike and cycle along the old railway track to Monmouth. Further afield, soak up the charming splendour of the region by visiting the riverside towns of Ross-on-Wye and Monmouth, offering quintessentially British tea rooms, quirky shops and traditional pubs, or the castles at Chepstow, Raglan and Goodrich and the stunning Tintern Abbey.
