The thoughtful touches, such as a bottle of wine and basic supplies, were appreciated, although such gifts are not guaranteed. Some minor issues were noted regarding maintenance and comfort, but overall, the property provided a delightful stay.

The majority of guests found the property to be spotless and well-presented. However, a few mentioned that certain areas could benefit from deeper cleaning, such as the cooker hood and outdoor furniture. The presence of flies, typical for rural areas, was also noted.

The location is consistently described as beautiful and idyllic, offering stunning views and tranquillity. Guests appreciated the proximity to walking routes, the local pub, and the village shop. The secluded setting in the Shropshire Hills was a highlight for many.

Guests found the cottage cosy and accommodating, with various spaces for relaxation and socialising. Some guests mentioned the need for comfier mattresses and outdoor seating, and the presence of internal steps could be an issue for those with mobility concerns.

The property's facilities, including the hot tub, kitchen equipment, and garden, were generally well-received. However, there were comments about the hot tub temperature, the need for more crockery, and some maintenance issues like the hot tub lid and outdoor furniture, suggesting room for improvement.

Guests frequently mentioned the thoughtful gestures, such as the provision of wine, milk, and bread upon arrival. These small touches contributed positively to their experience, although it is important to note that such gifts are offered at the owner's discretion and may not always be provided.

At 8am on the day of checkout (which wasn’t until 10am) the gardener turned up unannounced when our young children were playing in the garden and our nervous dog was out. He wanted to cut the grass which mean the kids couldn’t play out and we ended up leaving early.

Cottage was very well equipped and we had a wonderful time with my partners son and daughter in law and their twin girls The only thing that let it down was the dirty looking sheet on our bed, it was old with black bubbles all over it making it look very dirt but when we turned the quilt down there was also a stain on the sheet. We did take photos if the owner s would like to see them

The hot tub was an added bonus. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the owner is helpful and responds to any needs quickly. Lots of supplies left in the cupboard too so you don't need to bring the essentials like oil. Highly recommend!
