Cosy and welcoming throughout to provide comfortable accommodation and flexible sleeping options, this remote Minsterley cottage is ideal for couples or small families wishing to spend time in the beautiful South Shropshire Hills. With exceptional far-reaching views, a warming woodburner in the sitting room and the added cottage character of open stone walls, this holiday home near Shrewsbury is a wonderful retreat to return to after a day of exploration. Outside, views extend over the rocky crags of the Stiperstones and the Shropshire Plain and there is a large enclosed lawn where little ones and pets can run off energy, and everyone can simply sit and relax together whilst taking in the beauty of the surroundings. The small village of Hope, less than a mile away, has two pubs, one of which serves food and guest ales. A short drive away are the thriving villages of Minsterley and Pontesbury providing a good selection of further amenities including an award-winning butcher and bakery, and Pontesford Hill, Eastridge Woods, the Long Mynd and the Stiperstones offer stunning views, circular walking routes and many cross-country trails for all mountain biking abilities.     The kids really enjoyed the garden and games box. Well equipped with everything you need. Lovely host and lovely cake thank you. We enjoyed a meal in the nearby pub, very friendly and walkable. Lots of do in nearby area.
