Perfectly situated very close to Rowton Castle where our our sons wedding was taking place. However, this property does need some TLC to make it worth the money being charged - some of these issues dampened our few nights stay….. Mainly the smell coming from the Arg/Fire was awful - made your clothes smell, even gave you headaches so urgently needs looking at! Other easily fixed issues include: Replacing the low brown sofa. Tightening the loose and leaking kitchen tap. Pull cord in downstairs shower doesn’t stay on so couldn’t use shower. Toilet pans need a deep clean or replacing. Games room flooded. Kitchen floor was sticky and generally needs a good clean. Dishwasher doesn’t release the tablets & we didn’t have a tea towel to wash & dry manually. Plus the amount of dead flies in the attic room was disgusting…. Hot tub was great, but needs an outside light & garden was a fun place for the dogs.

The kitchen was well equipped and the conservatory dining area was a lovely place to sit, eat, drink, chat and play games. The kitchen has an air fryer and a slow cooker which would have been handy to know in advance. Also we did not have any pods for the coffee machine. We all enjoyed the hot tub and would happily recommend the property. We were 6 adults, 2 small children and 2 small dogs. The only improvement I would suggest would be replacing the brown settee with something more comfortable as it is too low.
