Guests say

Tree House Barn in Shropshire is a well-received holiday rental, praised for its peaceful and remote location, spaciousness, and warm atmosphere. Guests appreciate the enclosed garden for dogs, the well-equipped kitchen, and the property's cleanliness. The scenic views and wildlife add to the charm, although some guests note the access road's condition and the need for minor maintenance and comfort improvements.

Guests that stayed at this property said

The property is consistently described as clean and well-kept, with several guests noting its immaculate condition. There are minor mentions of cobwebs and spiders, but these do not detract significantly from the overall perception of cleanliness.

The location is highly praised for its tranquillity and beautiful rural setting. Guests enjoy the seclusion and the proximity to Shrewsbury and other attractions. However, the access road's condition has been mentioned as a concern, slightly affecting the score.

Guests find the property warm and cosy, with comfortable beds and a spacious layout. However, there are comments about the hardness of the mattresses and the need for more comfortable seating, both indoors and outdoors, which suggests room for improvement in this category.

The barn is well-equipped with modern facilities, and guests are generally satisfied. However, there are several mentions of maintenance issues such as a broken window, a non-functioning dishwasher, and the need for better garden fencing for dogs. These issues indicate that while the facilities are good, they require attention.

Guests have mentioned welcome gifts such as biscuits and bubbly, which are appreciated and contribute to a positive experience. It should be noted that such gifts are a kind gesture and may not be provided on every occasion.

The only thing that needs improvement is the comfort of the king-size bed mattress. My husband and I both suffer from bad backs which is perhaps why we found it uncomfortable, perhaps a mattress- topper would sort it? But apart from that we had a most enjoyable stay and would highly recommend.

The weather was great and we could have spent more time outside with decent furniture. The flies were a big issue had to buy extra fly killer. There was no microwave, extra chopping boards would be helpful . The paintwork is looking tired on window frames and doors also the weeds by back door could do with removing. We are not being nasty but for the money it could have been better.

Incredible seeing how such an old barn can be turned into something so beautiful. The dog walking was the best part, lots to explore. Lovely and peaceful, ideal for a quiet relaxing stay. Bed was slightly uncomfortable for us but that is pure preference. Lovely farm drive, not sure why other reviews said this was a problem, just go slow, it’s a working farm?! Karen was so lovely, 10/10, will definitely book again.
