Park-up on your private driveway, before being greeted by your very own private decking with furniture, the perfect spot for savouring your morning coffee or dining alfresco. The town hall, train station, real ale pubs, cosy cafes, and pleasant restaurants, as well as a few speciality stores bursting with delights, serve as the administrative centre for Shropshire council's northern area committee. If you're a fan of hiking, this is the spot for you. There are numerous trails and routes that take you through beautiful landscapes. If you're interested in mediaeval architecture and art galleries, check out the adjacent Tudor town of Shrewsbury. Charles Darwin was born in this town, and a statue of him stands outside the public library. The National Trust's Attingham Park, a magnificent hall and deer park with a stunning walled garden just outside the town, is a must-see for anybody visiting.
