Guests generally enjoy the cosy Shepherds Hut, praising its stunning views, relaxing hot tub, and the tranquillity of the surrounding area. The property offers a unique and intimate experience, with many visitors appreciating the warm welcome and local pub. While compact, the hut provides a comfortable and homely stay, with some guests noting the thoughtful touch of a complimentary prosecco.
The property consistently receives high marks for cleanliness, with guests noting it is very clean and well-kept. The attention to cleanliness contributes significantly to the overall positive experience.
The location is highly praised for its beautiful views and peacefulness, offering a sense of privacy and relaxation. Proximity to local attractions and dog-friendly pubs adds to the appeal, although some guests were disappointed about the inaccessibility of the field shown in photos.
The hut is described as cosy and warm, with a comfortable bed and a homely feeling. However, some guests mention the size and heat during warmer weather as drawbacks, affecting the overall comfort score.
Facilities like the hot tub and outdoor areas are well-received, but there are several mentions of maintenance issues such as dangerous decking when wet, a small toilet room, and a lack of privacy for the hot tub and shower. These concerns slightly lower the score.
Guests have mentioned thoughtful gestures such as a bottle of prosecco on arrival, which adds a personal touch to their stay. However, it should be noted that such gifts may vary and are not guaranteed for every visit.

Tony
The hut is in a tranquil and lovely setting. Even in 2 days of rain it was warm and welcoming. When the sun was out it was gorgeous. The bed is comfy the bath great. Out side the hot tub was lovely to use and I sat outside in the seating area a lot. The road up to the hut was flooded which meant we couldnât walk down to the village. Lots of places to visit and pubs to eat in.
