Guests consistently praise Saddlers for its cleanliness, high-quality accommodation, and the warm welcome from hosts Rachael and Paul. The property's secure garden is a hit with dog owners, and the hot tub is frequently mentioned as a highlight. The location offers tranquility and is well-placed for local attractions. Thoughtful touches like cakes and Prosecco add to the charm, although these are not guaranteed for every stay.
Reviews frequently commend the property's cleanliness, with many guests describing it as spotless. There is a single mention of some dishes and utensils not being clean, but this appears to be an isolated comment in the context of otherwise glowing feedback.
The location is appreciated for its tranquility and proximity to local attractions, with guests enjoying the peaceful setting. However, one review mentioned a misunderstanding about the distance to the Peak District, suggesting that the location may not be ideal for those looking to be closer to certain tourist areas.
Guests find the property comfortable, with special mentions of the cosy log burner and comfy beds. The accommodation is described as tasteful and the garden adds to the overall comfort. A suggestion for additional privacy for the sofabed area indicates room for improvement.
The facilities, including the hot tub, are generally praised, though there are minor suggestions for improvements such as stronger voiles to block out sunlight, fans for warm weather, and better outdoor seating. The ongoing issue with WiFi is noted, but the overall sentiment towards the facilities is very positive.
While many reviews mention thoughtful gestures such as cakes and Prosecco on arrival, these gifts are not guaranteed for every stay. As not all reviews reference these gifts, it is not possible to accurately score this category.
