The dining area has additional seating, providing space to spend quality time with the family. Be careful on the stairs, as there is a low ceiling and exposed beams, which is a feature throughout this home that oozes character and is enhanced by the original varnished flooring. All three bedrooms upstairs have exposed beams and sloping ceilings. These include a compact king-size, a king-size with an en-suite shower room, and a twin room with a cute window offering a view of the town, along with an additional family shower room upstairs. This home is right in the heart of Ironbridge, with plenty of activities just a stone's throw away. The Museum of The Gorge is a small, fact-filled museum nearby, with views of the river and the Iron Bridge. For a larger museum, the Royal Air Force Museum Midlands is a great choice, featuring Cold War hangars, air shows, and food festivals hosted each year -so be sure to check the dates. Enjoy Blists Hill Victorian Town, where staff play their part in immersing visitors in the Victorian era with period costumes. You may also encounter some majestic Shire horses there. National Trust Attingham is an 18th-century estate with beautiful flowers and greenery in the walled garden, a serene deer park, and a swanky tearoom where you can ponder life back in the 18th century. Escape to 34 The Wharfage for treasured family time and traditional experiences.

Ironbridge Gorge is known throughout the world as the birthplace of the Industrial Revolution. Today the area is far from industrial and nature has reclaimed most of the former industrial sites, leaving a unique and beautiful wooded valley. The gorge is a now a maze of footpaths, bridleways and country lanes whilst the delightful village is famous for being home of the world's first iron-built bridge, built between 1777-79. The village has a splendid variety of pubs, restaurants, shops and tea rooms and a collection of ten industrial and Victorian themed museums makes up the Ironbridge Museums Trust, including the exciting Blists Hill Victorian Village. Within driving distance are the popular historical towns of Shrewsbury, Bridgnorth, Much Wenlock and Ludlow, as well as the Wroxeter Roman City, the Severn valley Railway, the RAF Cosford Museum and many National Trust properties. Ironbridge is a wonderful base from which to explore the beautiful county of Shropshire.
