Enjoying a fantastic location within easy reach of the bustling town centre, near the Cotswolds AONB, and on-site facilities including a shop and restaurant, Poppy Lodge is an ideal dwelling for couples or a family of four. Upon arrival, you will find off-road parking for two cars, as well as wraparound decking with furniture, perfect for evenings when you fancy dining alfresco. Continue into the contemporary open-plan living space, where you will find a well-equipped kitchen for rustling up meals, dining seating for four, and an inviting sitting area with Smart TV, plush seating, and an electric fire for those chillier evenings! A well-appointed shower room awaits after a day of adventure, along with two tastefully decorated bedrooms, a double with en-suite cloakroom, and a 2’6 twin with Smart TV. Head into the town, where you can visit the birthplace and childhood haunts of the great playwright, William Shakespeare, including his schoolroom, theatre and place of retirement, test out your swing at the excellent Stratford-Upon-Avon Golf Club, tour The MAD Museum, step back in time at Tudor World, enjoy leisurely boat rides and kayaking along the River Avon, or attend the annual Stratford-Upon-Avon Races which take place between March and November. Next stop is Warwick, home to the renowned Warwick Castle, where you can tour the grounds, interior and watch battle re-enactments, the picturesque St Nicholas’ Park, the Market Hall Museum, the breath-taking St John’s House Museum set within a Jacobean mansion and the Church of St. Mary with exceptional city views from its tower and Norman crypt.     There were coat hooks and shelves and mirrors which make such a difference lovely place to stay.

    Caravan is in a convenient location just a few km walk from central Stratford. Disappointed that the reserve gas cylinder had not been kept full, as this meant we were left without gas for the best part of a day.

    Ideal for a great weeks rest for myself and my dog Alfred The Great, he loved it to with plenty of walks and lots to see.
