Guests say

Severn Bank Lodge is highly praised for its cleanliness, idyllic riverside location, and the warmth of its hosts, Wendy and David. Guests appreciate the well-maintained garden, the comfort of the property, and the thoughtful touches provided. While the low beams and steps may pose a challenge for some, the overall sentiment is overwhelmingly positive, with many guests planning to return.

Reviewers consistently mention the cleanliness of the cottage, describing it as 'spotless' and 'pristine'. This indicates a high standard of cleanliness maintained by the hosts.

The location on the bank of the River Severn is frequently highlighted as fantastic and idyllic. The proximity to local amenities and the availability of fishing spots are well-received, although the overgrown riverbank walk to Stourport is a minor drawback.

Guests find the cottage cosy and the beds comfortable. The quietness and darkness conducive to rest are appreciated. However, the low beams present a discomfort for taller individuals, and the steps may be difficult for those with mobility issues.

The property is well-equipped with a well-stocked kitchen, smart TV, and tackle storage for fishing. The garden and summer house add to the facilities' appeal. Some concerns about mobile phone signal and the need for a handrail are noted.

Many reviews express gratitude for the thoughtful gestures by the hosts, such as welcome gifts and assistance. While these acts of kindness greatly enhance the experience, it is important to note that such personal touches, though common, are not guaranteed.
