Guests consistently praise The Old Piggery for its cleanliness, comfort, and stunning views. The hot tub is a highlight, and the presence of friendly animals adds charm. The owners are commended for their hospitality. Some guests mention minor improvements, but overall experiences are highly positive, with many planning return visits.
Reviews frequently highlight the cleanliness of the property, describing it as well-presented, tidy, and immaculate, indicating a high standard of cleanliness maintained by the owners.
The property is celebrated for its beautiful views and proximity to local attractions. However, one review suggests the location was not as close to a specific town as expected, slightly impacting the score.
Comfort is a strong point, with guests finding the property spacious and the beds comfortable. Underfloor heating is appreciated, although one guest found their room too warm, which slightly affects the score.
Facilities are generally praised, especially the well-equipped kitchen and modern bathrooms. The hot tub is a favourite feature. Deductions are made for repeated requests for a freezer and minor issues with a TV and hot tub settings.
While many reviews express gratitude for the thoughtful touches like welcome gifts, there is not enough information to guarantee such amenities for future guests. Therefore, the score is set to null, and guests should note that such extras, while possible, are not assured.

Lots of places to visit. There is everything you could need in the kitchen that is very spacious and open plan to dining and living room. Lovely warm heating. With 3 showers and toilets very well provided for! The bedroom are quite small with very limited storage space for clothes but we managed. The beds were very comfortable which is the most important thing. The hot tub was wonderful. Great fun feeding the animals! With a welcome pack of Prosecco, milk, fresh farm eggs, biscuits, tea, coffee and sugar - much appreciated. Bit of a bumpy road to get to the cottage in an average car but we managed. This is a lovely cottage and would recommend.

The fresh duck eggs were delicious. Lovely opportunity to go round to meet and feed the animals.
