The cottage is set on a hill outside the village of East Morton on a farm. After a bone rattling car ride up the track the view from the cottage is amazing. Inside there is a utility room with laundry facilities and second loo. The kitchen has everything you need and the owners had left us some milk and eggs. The lounge is very comfy and has a smart TV. We didnât find the TV that easy to control as the remote is very sensitive! The bedroom has plenty of storage and the bed is comfy. There is a nice en suite with walk in shower. We were fortunate to have sunny weather when we were there and the bedroom gets very hot as there is only one opening window. We could have opened the bedroom door and let the air through from the lounge but we donât like the dog in the bedroom so we had the door shut. So maybe a fan would be welcomed? The garden was fine for our dog- itâs not enclosed but our dog just pottered about the grassy area in front. All in all a lovely place to sit with a g&t and watch the wildlife - we saw housemartins, red kites, buzzards, an owl, pheasants and a kestrel. Weâd definitely go back. A visitors book would be good for people to leave tips for places to visit& eat out etc . We had day trips to Ilkley, Grassington, Bolton Abbey and a walk along the canal at Five Rise Locks.

The location was stunning with fantastic views. The hosts were friendly and welcoming. The only down side was, as others have mentioned, the track up to the cottage which did take a bit of negotiating. This would not however put us off returning.
