The Snug is a well-appointed cottage in Haworth, praised for its excellent location and cosy atmosphere. Guests appreciate the proximity to local attractions and the thoughtful touches like a selection of teas and coffees. While some guests found the comfort and cleanliness to be less than perfect, the overall experience is seen as pleasant and convenient for a stay in West Yorkshire.
Reviews are mixed regarding cleanliness. While some guests found the cottage to be clean and cosy, one guest reported finding hair and a lack of thorough cleaning prior to their stay. This suggests room for improvement in this area.
The location is highly praised for being close to Main Street, shops, eateries, and bus links, making it an ideal spot for exploring Haworth and the surrounding areas.
Guests have mixed feelings about comfort. The cottage is described as cosy and warm, but some guests mentioned a firm sofa and a lumpy mattress, indicating that comfort levels may vary.
Facilities are generally appreciated, but there are concerns about maintenance issues such as a broken fridge door rack and an overly frosted freezer. The lack of bathroom heating and effective ventilation was also noted.
The provision of teas and coffees was a well-received touch, showing thoughtfulness. However, it should be noted that such gifts are a kind gesture and may not be guaranteed for every stay.

The famed Bronte sisters, who lived in the little village of Haworth, were inspired to write their works of English literature, which have since become classics, by the surrounding moorland. Haworth is a community that time almost forgot, with a plethora of curiosity and antique shops, alleyways, and cobblestone streets providing a lovely period ambiance, all set against a framing backdrop of famously characterised as wild, rough, and bleak in the novel Wuthering Heights landscape. The famed Keighley and Worth Valley train, an actual steam train made famous by the movie The Railway Children, is close by and offers a charming day trip with a regular service to the historic village of Oxenhope. The Bronte Parsonage Museum, East Riddlesden Hall, and the National Railway Museum in York are just a few of the well-known attractions in the area. There was hair (human and dog) all over the bedroom and stairs carpet. The microwave had a blanket in top, again covered in dog hair. I do not have a dog and have very short hair so to find long hair and dog hair was not nice. Admittedly, I only booked the property in my day of arrival which didn't give much notice, however, I would always expect a property to be clean. Although the listing said there was a starter for the fire, there was only 1 log which I thought a little lacking. The fridge door rack is broken so things fell out and the freezer is an ice box which has frosted over so there is no room for food. Over all I was very disappointed.

Good bus links to Hebdon Bridge and Keighley. Would definitely stay again x

It is in a great location and was clean well maintained and tastefully converted. The only downside was the bathroom which did not have any sort of heating. This combined with a lack of effective ventilation caused the area around the window to be very mouldy which was a shame when everything else was great.
