Located just a six-minute walk from Cunliffe Barn is The Woolpack pub, which guests may know from the hit television series Emmerdale. Despite its fame, the pub is open to the public and it offers a good range of food and drinks, so whether you’re a fan of the show or not, it’s still well worth visiting. There are plenty of other activities in and around the area, with golfers recommended to take in a round at the nearby Bradford Park Golf Club, while fans of the countryside should visit the Yorkshire Dale National Park, located just 16 miles away. Meanwhile the city of Leeds offers great shops, restaurants and nightlife, and is only 12 miles away. Esholt is situated between Shipley and Guiseley, in the metropolitan district of the City of Bradford. This village was once used to film scenes for 'Emmerdale' from 1976 to 1997; pleasant walks amble through the village, where you can stop off for a drink at the local pub on the way; The Woolpack is in the heart of Esholt, serving drinks, food and a friendly atmosphere. Close by is the town of Shipley, and the city of Leeds is further afield with many shops, pubs and restaurants, as well as Harewood House, Roundhay Park and Kirkstall Abbey. The North Yorkshire Dales are 16 miles to the north, for those who love being outdoors.
