Jacquie and Ben were very accomodating and friendly but gave us space to do our own thing .The farmhouse oused character and had all we needed for our family stay. The climb both by car and on foot up to the farm took a little getting used to but that was all apart of its charm. So thank-you all for a great holiday Jane and Sam Hunt.

The views are magnificent, the cottage is well stocked, clean and cosy, the owners who live next door are helpful and left us a thoughtful welcome pack which we appreciated.Dog friendly and our two had a whale of a time - fantastic walks right from the door and a short drive to all the local spots inc Hebden and Heptonstall. Warning: the access track is very uneven and steep (the owners made that clear in listing) and my Skoda was too low to handle it but luckily my sisters car was fine as I could not use mine all week after I crawled to the top . I think most cars would manage but just in case yours is very low it’s worth knowing.
