Ryburn Lodge is a well-received holiday rental, praised for its ample space, comfortable common areas, and well-equipped kitchen. Its proximity to the beach and town centre makes it an ideal location for family gatherings and sightseeing. Guests appreciate the property's character and the owner's responsiveness to issues.
Most guests found the property clean and tidy, though there were isolated incidents of overlooked cleaning, such as inside the fridge and on high surfaces. The owner's prompt response to cleanliness issues suggests a commitment to maintaining standards.
The property's location is highly praised, being within walking distance to the beach, town centre, and local amenities. Its position is ideal for both relaxation and exploring the local attractions.
Guests generally found the property comfortable, with ample seating and spare blankets for chilly nights. However, some guests noted the beds and bed linen could be improved, and there were minor comments about the towels and pillows.
The property is well-equipped for large groups, with sufficient cutlery and crockery. There were some concerns about maintenance issues like central heating and shower functionality, but these were addressed promptly.
While guests have expressed satisfaction with the amenities and the owner's helpfulness, there is no mention of gifts or special touches that would fall under the category of thoughtfulness. Therefore, this score cannot be provided.
Ryburn Lodge is a spacious, three-storey, Victorian holiday home resting in Bridlington, North Yorkshire. Perfect for a large family gathering or group celebration, this property offers off-road parking and en-suite bedrooms and great sea views, while being in a convenient location close to the beach and local amenities. Inside, two sitting rooms, one on the ground floor and one on the first floor means there is space for the whole family to relax and unwind while flicking through the TV channels. The one on the first floor has a home cinema with a 65"screen and surround sound. The ground-floor is home to the kitchen/diner, which is fitted with an oven and hob and an American-style fridge/freezer and is the perfect space for the chef of the group to whip up a tasty dinner for the group. Completing the shared spaces is a handy study, should you need to work while you are away, which has a balcony so you can enjoy the hushed sounds of the local hustle and bustle. When it is time to rest there are nine bedrooms to choose from, eight of which have en-suite shower rooms, with sleeping arrangements ranging from family rooms, to doubles, to twins, and one lone single room for anyone who enjoys their own space. Finishing off the home are two bathrooms and a shower room, so you will not be short of places to freshen up throughout your stay. Make time to explore the local area with a trip to the local beach, or brush up on history and culture with visits to The Bayle Museum and the Bondwille Model Village. If you are looking to just eat, drink, and relax, you won't be short of pubs and restaurants in the area either! Venturing further away from the town and along the coast, you will reach the lovely coastal town of Flamborough, home to a golf club and Selwicks Bay, making a chilled out day for the beach lovers and golfers. From here, venture further up the coast to Filey to visit the popular Filey Bird Garden and Animal Park, or simply stroll through the idyllic Filey Brigg Country Park. Alternatively, head to the lively town of Scarborough for attractions and dining options, or into the North York Moors National Park for an abundance of walking and cycling opportunities. Ryburn Lodge is a superb choice in a lovely seaside area.
Bridlington is south of Scarborough and Filey on Yorkshire's east coast. Two award-winning golden sand beaches flank the ancient harbour. Beautiful promenades provide everything from fun-fairs to peaceful spots to people-watch. Bridlington's shops, attractions, restaurants, and historic 'Old Town' give a contrast to the beach, where the newest Dad's Army was filmed. The Bridlington Spa Theatre provides nighttime entertainment. East Riding Leisure Centre has a family pool and indoor activities. The Yorkshire Wolds, Filey, Scarborough, and Whitby, and the heritage coastline are further afield. Bempton's rspb bird refuge, Sewerby Hall, Danes Dyke, and Flamborough Head are all nearby. It is very close to town center, and lots of activities available for children of all ages. overall the property have lots of space but little uncomfortable as the shower trays are too small and some of the showers doesn't work well. Most rooms have en-suite, but the common bathroom don't have lock and the sink have no mixer tap.
