Netherthong is a countryside village resting between Holmfirth and Huddersfield, near to the Peak District National Park in West Yorkshire. The village is known for Wesleyan Chapel, the first chapel in the Huddersfield area opened in 1771, now a private dwelling on St Mary's Estate, and is within easy reach of a selection of attractions, including Meltham Golf Club, Folly Dolly Falls and Compos House Museum.
