Guests say

Windyridge is a well-received holiday cottage in Settle, praised for its spaciousness, elegant Georgian features blended with modern conveniences, and prime location. Guests appreciate the warm, homely atmosphere, the well-equipped kitchen, and the property's proximity to local amenities and walking opportunities. While some minor issues with cleanliness and maintenance are noted, the overall sentiment is highly positive, with many expressing a desire to return.

Most guests found Windyridge to be clean and well-presented. However, a few mentioned specific cleanliness issues such as stained kitchen floors and marked carpets. These appear to be isolated incidents rather than a general trend.

The location is consistently praised for its convenience to shops, pubs, and restaurants, as well as for being an excellent base for exploring the Dales. The ease of access and the peaceful yet central setting contribute to its high rating.

Guests frequently mention the comfort of the property, highlighting the warm, spacious rooms, comfortable beds, and cosy atmosphere. The presence of modern conveniences alongside period charm adds to the overall comfort.

The facilities at Windyridge generally meet guests' expectations, with a well-equipped kitchen and good bathroom amenities. Some guests noted a lack of certain kitchen items and minor maintenance issues, but these do not detract significantly from the overall experience.

While guests have expressed gratitude for the welcome scones and the provision of a high chair, there is not enough consistent mention of thoughtful gestures or gifts to accurately score this category. It should be noted that such gestures, while appreciated, are not guaranteed.
