After busy days exploring the Dales, chuck walking gear into the utility's washing machine and freshen up in the ground-floor bathroom, whether that's among the bubbles in the freestanding bath or in the walk-in shower. Climb the stairs to find the first-floor living/dining room, start the woodburning stove, and sink into the enticing sofas while your favourite film plays on the Smart TV; why not grab a book from the shelf and relax? Threshfield is a small village in Upper Wharfedale that is bordered by the surrounding settlements of Grassington, Linton, Hetton, Cracoe, and Rylstone, which is home to the famed 'Calendar Girls.' Threshfield is a bustling neighbourhood. Grassington, one of the most charming villages in the Yorkshire Dales National Park, is a short drive away, where you'll find traditional stone cottages, galleries, restaurants, and shops clustered around the cobbled market place, as well as a monthly farmers' market offering a mouthwatering range of organic and homemade local produce.
