The properties themselves were spotless on arrival, and exactly as described on the listing. Jerry was very helpful and always on hand if we had any questions or wanted advice, and also got the hot tubs nice and hot for our arrival. We had everything we needed already there meaning we only had to bring clothes, food and drink, and the welcome hamper was also a nice touch. The location itself is amazing with a nice walking route around the reservoir and also longer routes to nearby villages where we found some great local pubs, shops and takeaways. This is my second time visiting this property and definitely won’t be the last. It really does cater for all and cannot recommend it enough!

Could smell wood smoke from fireplace in sitting room upon arrival. Appreciate this is an old barn, but signs of damp in sitting room and downstairs toilet with paintwork sanded back to plaster, but not repainted. Given the cost of the rental, this should be sorted in advance of the season. Master bedroom door also needs planning as doesn’t close without using force. The above feedback is given to improve on otherwise excellent accommodation and would highly recommend.

We had a wonderful family weekend. The house was beautiful and the welcome hamper was one of the best that we’ve received. The kitchen is very well stocked, plates, glasses, etc. maybe the only thing that could be a little better is the seating area outside but saying that there is enough seats to sit on, just think more could be made of the outside area, but this certainly did not detract from a wonderful stay and we would definitely rebook.
