Five steps lead up into this beautifully crafted and imaginatively updated shepherd’s hut. Inside, you will be greeted by a characterful open-plan layout, with a central lounge space featuring comfortable bench seating with plush cushions, and a welcoming wood burner. To the side of the main door, there’s a table perfect for enjoying meals which you can prepare in the small but suitably equipped kitchen. At one end of the hut, you can climb into the sumptuous double bed which has charming views of the countryside as well as a handy Smart TV. There’s also a stylish and refreshing shower room at the other end of the hut. Back outside, the private patio features a picnic bench, BBQ and picturesque views of the surrounding countryside. There’s also a sheltered outdoor bath for you to luxuriate in as the stars come out.

This is a great base for exploring Nidderdale, with the ancient Brimham Rocks and Graffa Plain nearby (2.5 miles). Also within easy reach are historic landmarks and popular attractions including Fountains Abbey, Ripley Castle, Mother Shipton’s Cave, Ripon Racecourse and Stump Cross Caverns, all within 11 miles. To the south, you can spend a day in the bustling spa town of Harrogate (10.5 miles).
