We had a very enjoyable week at Bizzys Bolthole. Lovely efficient woodburner, cosy cottage with great walks from the door, either into Reeth along the river or further along.

The cottage is tiny, cute & quirky. Perfect for me & my 2 dogs....or for 2 people. Lovely to have a Wood burner. Perfect location, quiet & lots of walks from the door.

Lovely cottage in beautiful, quite location. Well equipped. Comfortable in the main, but for chillier weather like us, we found the cottage rather cold (the walls were cold and didn't warm up, as if the building had been empty for months. However, if you are happy to buy lots of logs for the log burner, it can be made nice and cosy! I should say that the owner has stated she can adjust the heating remotely if asked. But would would be better all round if it was warmer to start with. Would like to come again, but perhaps in warmer weather.
