Guests consistently praise the A D Coach House for its cleanliness, comfortable furnishings, and thoughtful touches such as welcome gifts. The location is celebrated for its stunning scenery and proximity to local amenities. While the property is well-equipped, some guests suggest that additional cooking equipment and bathroom refurbishment could enhance the experience. The enclosed garden and EV charger are appreciated features, and the property's charm and modern decor are frequently highlighted.
Reviewers consistently mention that the cottage is 'spotlessly clean' and well-presented, indicating a high standard of cleanliness throughout the property.
The property is lauded for its 'wonderful setting' in Swaledale, with easy access to local pubs, cafes, and scenic walks, making the location highly desirable.
The cottage is described as 'cosy and comfortable' with high-quality furnishings. However, some guests feel the space may be tight for larger groups, slightly impacting the comfort score.
Facilities such as an EV charger and washer/dryer are praised, but comments about limited cooking equipment and the need for bathroom updates suggest room for improvement in facilities and maintenance.
Guests appreciate the thoughtful extras, including welcome gifts and coffee pods. While these are well-received, it is noted that such gestures are subject to change and not guaranteed.

Enjoy a memorable escape to the Dales with a stay at A D Coach House.
Reeth sits in the northern extremity of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, tucked between Calver Hill, Fremington Edge, and Harkerside, and is a popular tourist destination. Reeth, an area of outstanding natural beauty with undulating hills and breathtaking views, has a rich history that includes Saxon settlement, lead mining town, and centre of hand knitting. The Swaledale Museum, which is nestled among a variety of retail establishments, tea houses, and restaurants, honours both professions. Three traditional inns are available in Reeth, including the charming Buck Hotel, whitewashed like many of the 18th century cottages packed around the village green. Richmond and Leyburn, both historic market towns, are both nearby and both offer a wide range of attractions. Askrigg, Aysgarth Falls, Semerwater, and Hardraw Force (England's highest single-drop waterfall at 99ft) are all within a few minutes' drive of each other. As a starting point, Reeth is a great place to explore North Yorkshire's magnificent and varied scenery, whether you'd prefer to explore the caves and cliffs, waterfalls, or the numerous walking and cycling trails that crisscross this vibrant and diverse landscape.

Everything was well set up for a comfortable stay in a great location. We have been before a number of times and there is a reason why we keep coming back. Just perfect, too, for our canine companion.

Barely room to move. Manageable for a weekend, but not great for anything longer. 1 loo roll for 6 people is a bit mean.
