Parking is available on the roadside just in front of the property; once parked up, make your way inside and kick off your shoes and hang your coats in the boot room, before making your way into the main living space, beginning with a welcoming sitting room, the focal point of which is an exposed stone inglenook housing an open fire, which fills the space with warmth as you kick back on the plush sofas and enjoy a movie night or a great book. The separate dining room is the ideal space to sit down for meals together, which can be prepared in the delightful renovated kitchen, boasting pale pink and white hues, a window overlooking the garden, and a range of appliances to help you cook up a storm, there's even a wine cooler where you can chill a bottle of fizz, ready to toast to your wonderful holiday. Make your way upstairs to discover two lovingly decorated bedrooms; a spacious master double with a full length window that overlooks the village, as well as an en-suite bathroom, where you can end the day with a relaxing soak in the bath tub, while the twin bedroom would be ideal for children and is served by the shower room, meaning no queues for the bathroom in the mornings! Several dog walks in fields around village, but best walk from former Richmond railway station to Easby Abbey ruins, then back beside river. Angel pub in village does very good food, Wednesday to Sunday. Hope vacuum cleaner is fixed for next guests - battery wouldn't charge for us!

Beds were comfortable and the cottage was well appointed.

This made my dog upset and also we thought someone was breaking into the house. This happened quite early in the morning, I understand that the laundry needs to be done but It would of been nice to have had some notice about this as it was after all our holiday and we would expect some level of privacy.
