Guests say

Kittiwakes is a well-regarded cottage in Filey, appreciated for its great location, cleanliness, and modern amenities. Guests have enjoyed the property's proximity to the beach and the quiet, well-kept area. The apartment is noted for being bright, airy, and providing a comfortable stay with good parking and easy access. While some guests mentioned minor issues with facilities and maintenance, the overall sentiment is positive, with many looking forward to returning.

Most guests found the apartment clean and well-maintained, though there were isolated complaints about cleanliness which seem to be exceptions rather than the rule.

The location is highly praised for its convenience, proximity to the beach, and the peaceful environment, making it an ideal spot for a holiday.

Guests generally found the apartment comfortable, especially noting the sofa and living space. However, some guests found the bed and mattress to be less comfortable, affecting the score.

The facilities are well-received with some concerns over maintenance issues like the shower, DVD player, and tumble dryer. The presence of a washing machine and good Wi-Fi are positives.

While guests appreciated the owner's courtesy call, there is insufficient information on gifts or additional thoughtful touches to accurately score this category.

The apartment was contemporary but cosy and had everything we needed. It was also more spacious than I had thought it would be - the rooms are a good size. The facilities on site are adequate. The pub, shop and pharmacy are just a few minutes away. The beach is the best part of a mile but well worth the walk. It is a perfect base for exploring the area and we would love to visit again!

Parking right outside apartment and all information we needed was received well before our visit. Nice phone call from the owner to make sure everything was alright upon our arrival. Would definitely visit here again.

We go to the Bay 3 times a year and this property has everything you need. Like to thank the owner for the courtesy call he made to. Very nice touch. Facilities are amazing to given that this site does have Wi.fi problems sometimes. Not here. Would highly recommend and cant wait to say there again.
