Some guests mention the benefit of additional bathrooms and a dryer, but overall, the property receives high commendations.

Reviewers frequently mention the cleanliness of the property, describing it as 'very clean' and 'spotless'. The high level of cleanliness contributes significantly to the comfort and enjoyment of their stay.

The property is well-regarded for its location, being close to Scarborough, the beach, and local shops. It is also mentioned as a good base for exploring nearby seaside towns and natural attractions. However, one guest mentioned difficulty in finding the property initially.

The charming old village of Newby sits in a secluded location in the Eden Valley, between the northern Pennines and the Lake District. Newby, with its better-known neighbours of Appleby and Penrith, is surrounded by lovely rolling landscapes and is often described as having a special, unchanging beauty. The village itself is surrounded by open fields, supporting cattle, sheep and horses. The nearby market town of Penrith offers a good selection of shops, supermarkets, restaurants, a cinema and swimming baths. Why not visit the Rheged Discovery Centre in Penrith, or nearby Lowther Castle Gardens and Bird of Prey Centre? The back garden was ideal for the dogs. Close to Scarborough, and local shops. The snacks left by the owner was a lovely touch, as well as tea, coffee, hot chocolate and milk. We were a family of five, so ample bedrooms, large dining table and lovely spacious living room. Would definitely recommend this property.
