From the moment you step inside your new home-from-home, be impressed by the extensive living spaces, including an open-plan kitchen/diner which has been decorated to a high-standard with a tiled floor, American-style fridge/freezer, central breakfast bar and a dining booth where you and your loved ones can sit and chat, whilst the allocated chef prepares a delicious home cooked meal. Entertaining is no problem here, with a dining room that seats eight people and a bright and comfortable sitting room with patio doors opening into the garden. Set over two floors, there are four bedrooms, with a mix of sumptuous super-king-size, double and twin beds, all with quality bedding and mattresses so you can relax and unwind in style. If you prefer to spend your evenings alfresco, step out into the enclosed lawned garden, ideal for a refreshing tipple after a day spent exploring the Peak District National Park and a safe place for children to play and let off steam. With countless public trails and the well-known Scalby Beck, which winds its way to the coast, it makes the ideal site to stay. It is surrounded by rolling hills and lovely countryside, with thousands of hectares of moors and forest. The grounds of St. Lawrence's Church Rooms host a weekly farmers market where fresh local products is sold. Scalby offers a nice getaway after a hard day out because Scarborough is right around the corner, with its superb, sandy beaches, excellent restaurants, and vibrant town centre!

Plenty of space upstairs and downstairs nice being able to have family meals in the dining room. The location is lovely and quiet and close to Scarborough north beach which is perfect for small children. We really enjoyed our meal at the Plough in Scalby, food, service and atmosphere was great. We mostly cooked our evening meal which was easier having an 8 month old with us. The only improvement we can suggest would be somewhere in the bedrooms to sit and dry hair put on make up etc. Communication with the owner Hannah was great and speedy. Would highly recommend this accommodation.

Everything we needed and more . Fantastic treats left for us and dog treats which Oscar enjoyed sat in the garden . We cannot wait to come back , I still walked in and said wow
