Guests say

Victorian House in Scarborough is a well-received holiday rental, praised for its comfort, spaciousness, and well-equipped kitchen. Guests enjoyed the underfloor heating, comfortable beds, and the property's proximity to local amenities and the beach. The welcome touches from the owners added to the positive experience, although some minor maintenance issues were noted.

Reviews consistently mention the property being clean and tidy upon arrival, indicating high standards of cleanliness. No negative comments about cleanliness were found.

The property is appreciated for its location, being a short walk or drive to the beach, town, and local attractions. Proximity to pubs and restaurants is also highlighted. However, on-street parking is noted as workable but not ideal.

Guests found the beds super comfy and the bedrooms roomy. The presence of underfloor heating and a woodburner contributed to a cosy stay. Some guests mentioned the house being cold in the evening and creaky floorboards.

The property is well-stocked with kitchen appliances and offers ample space for dining and socialising. However, several reviews mention minor maintenance issues such as loose toilet seats, dripping taps, and the need for more cooking utensils.

Guests were delighted by the thoughtful touches like welcome packs, flowers, wine, and cake. It's important to note that such gifts, while appreciated, may vary and are not guaranteed for every stay.

I would recommend staying at Victorian house. The house is lovley, spacious and clean. The beds are comfy and loads of wardrobe space. The bathroom downstairs was great with shower and washer in there. Theres a Massive table in the dinning room which we sat around for family meals and played games in the evenings. The Kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed when we cooked a meal. Even had a dishwasher. The children loved playing chess and the table top pool table that was at the house. Theres a bathroom on the 1st floor with a bath and another shower and a seperate toilet next door. All 5 bedrooms were all lovley tidy and clean when we arrived. Dogs are welcolme . We had 4 dogs with us which was lovley as they are part of our family too. There is a enclosed yard to the rear with garden furniture. Would stay again had such a lovley time. Thank you

Couldn't believe how big the bedrooms were! Kitchen was very well equipped had everything we needed. Short drive to beach with the kids but you could walk it if you wanted to. Wish we could have stayed longer! Thank you for a lovely stay :)

Such as dish washer and washing machine. It would also be nice to have a second key (I know there is a lock box but sometimes it is quicker to pop out). The fuse box should be available to reset if trips.
