Which was cosy and comfortable. For us however the lack of washing machine and dishwasher was a negative. As was only one toilet/bathroom. There was no welcome pack of basics (soap, washing up liquid, uht milk, coffee, tea etc.) We have always had these basics in other holiday cottages. I would imagine you are supposed to provide a small soap at sinks? It was almost like it had been forgotten. There was a label and socks in the front bedroom wardrobe so that clearly had not been thoroughly cleaned. Also nowhere near enough hangers in any of the rooms. The beds were small and not comfy, but this is something I need to check more closely another time. The location was ideal and we love Whitby so overall had a great holiday.

The property is beautifully presented and very clean. A lot of thought has been put into the facilities; kitchen utensils/crockery, games and books for children, iron, hair dryer etc. This really did feel like a âhome from homeâ. We parked in the Langbourne Road car park (£10 for 24 hours). The property is well located just a very short walk to the main Whitby attractions, but far enough to be away from the noise. We would definitely stay here again.
