Guests say

The View in Whitby is highly praised for its cleanliness, spaciousness, and stunning views. Guests appreciate the secure parking, proximity to the town centre, and family-friendly amenities. While most find the property well-equipped and beautifully designed, a few minor maintenance issues are noted. The location, with its mesmerising views of the Abbey, is consistently lauded.

Guests consistently describe the property as very clean, with only one mention of the kitchen and bathroom needing better cleaning. The positive remarks far outweigh this single concern.

The property's location is universally acclaimed for its fantastic views and proximity to the town centre, with secure parking adding to its convenience.

The property is generally found to be comfortable, with mentions of comfortable furniture and beds. However, one review mentions inconveniently placed electric sockets and a wobbly one in the lounge.

Facilities are well-regarded, with mentions of baby gates, bunk beds, and board games. Some guests noted the need for a bath mat and a better shower screen, and one mentioned a loose toilet seat.

While guests appreciate the amenities provided for families and the secure gardens for dogs, there are no specific mentions of gifts, so it is not possible to assess thoughtfulness in this context.

The shower screen was next to useless. Downstairs furniture was comfortable and so were the beds. Electric sockets weren’t that convenient and one in the lounge was wobbly!!

Instructions were easy to follow and communication with owners was first class. No surprises all went as expected. Views of Abbey were memorising, every time you looked out of the window something had changed, the angle of the sun, cloud cover, amount of daylight, completely changed the view and outline of the Abbey, and of course at night all the lights came on. Stunning.

Just a minor issue which I'm sure will be sorted if not already. There's Was a very loose/broken toilet seat that moved around when seated. But once again the property was beautiful and well worth the money to stay in a beautiful town in somewhere very well looked after
