Guests say

Guests have had a delightful experience at 9 Salt Pan Well Steps, praising its cosy charm, excellent location, and stunning views. The cottage's cleanliness and tasteful decoration have been appreciated, along with thoughtful touches like a welcome bottle of Prosecco. While some minor maintenance issues were noted, the overall sentiment is overwhelmingly positive, with many looking forward to returning.

The cottage is consistently described as clean, with only one mention of dampness on the walls, which seems to be an isolated issue rather than a reflection of overall cleanliness.

The location is highly praised for its proximity to local attractions and the town, with guests appreciating the short walks to pubs and restaurants.

The cottage is frequently referred to as cosy and comfortable. However, there were a couple of minor complaints about bedding and the inconvenience of stairs for nighttime bathroom visits.

Facilities are generally well-received, with a quick response to a fridge issue noted positively. However, points are deducted for the mentioned dampness, loose toilet seat, and lack of a microwave.

Guests have mentioned thoughtful gestures such as a welcome bottle of Prosecco and an informative leaflet. While these are appreciated, it is politely noted that such gifts are not guaranteed for every stay.

Also was a lovely gesture leaving s bottle of cava for us , so thankyou for that very kind . Theres a lot of damp on inner walls which was flaking off in the bedroom needs attention near where you hang your clothes . Were nearer our sixties now so found having to go down 2 flights of stairs a bit of a bind when needing the toilet through the night . Parking isn't great either parking on church was nr impossible , we ended up parking at the top of the steps which did end up being better the only problem was we ended up not travelling out because of the fear if not being able to park back up .

Everything was good and worked fine, the only down side was the toilet seat was very loose and I nearly fell off it as it moved when I sat on it but other than that the place was so lovely and quaint, nice place and would recommend it, the views were to die for, really enjoyed the stay thank u
