Enjoy coastal life at this modern house (built in 2022) accommodating up to eight guests. Situated within Whitby, it offers good access to the surrounding North York Moors National Park. Whitby is a town that offers something a little different from your typical coastal resort. The ruins of Whitby Abbey stand dominantly on the clifftop and can be reached on foot by climbing the 199 steps from the old town. Stroll along the cobbled streets and visit some of the quirky shops or stop in one of the local fish and chip cafes for lunch. Whether you take a trip on the steam train through the North York Moors or explore the pretty fishing villages of Robin Hood's Bay (6 miles) and Staithes (10 miles), this superb property is ideal any time of the year. Be welcomed into a large hallway with plenty of space for sandy shoes, walking boots and coats. Head into the kitchen and dining area where there is a large family sized table for eight people. The well equipped kitchen is a delight to cook in. Come together around the table for breakfast and plan the day. Later, after dinner, wander through the double doors to the lounge. Open the door to the patio and garden and extend your space in the warm balmy summer evenings. Completing the ground floor is a separate WC. When it's time to turn in, head upstairs to the first floor to the spacious bedrooms, each room has ample storage for clothing. The master bedroom offers a king size bed with an en suite shower room and WC; enjoy your morning coffee on your private balcony with views across the meadows in the distance.
