The cottage is very cosy and offers all the home comforts you could wish for. Itâs great having the pub across the road and being so close to the York and the Wolds.

The beds were sumptuous. The bedding was beautiful and the attention to detail was second to none, with everything you need for a great stay. The house is in a lovely quiet setting in a quiet village with a pub nearby which has a fantastic steak and wine deal two nights a week and a lovely varied menu with a good choice for everyone. The centre of York is roughly 20 minutes away. I would recommend Fishermans Lodge in a heartbeat. It was a fabulous break and we enjoyed every minute. Thank you so much.
