Great cottage in an ideal location.

This was our second visit, and we enjoyed this little cottage just as much as on our first. Yes, you need to accept that the stairs are steep, and the bathroom is compact, and like any building of this age there have to be some compromises, but the breakfast kitchen is well-equipped and the sitting room is snug and there's a cheerful view from the bedroom towards Castle Howard. There are good walks from the front door, the Crown and Cushion pub is close by, and there's a splendid shop and deli a few doors down. I'm sure we'll be back!
