Fraserburgh 5.5 miles. Nestled in the quaint, fishing village of St Combs, Aberdeenshire, lies this charming three-bedroom holiday home, Bella's Beach Cottage. Set right on the beachfront, this property has everything you need for a memorable self-catered stay, and is perfect for families or even sharing friends. Inside, be sure to utilise the well-equipped kitchen/diner, where delicious, home-cooked meals can be prepared and enjoyed around the dining table before you and your loved ones settle down to watch a film or two on the Smart TV in the sitting room. As the evening draws to a close, indulge yourself in a luxurious bath before retiring to one of three well-presented bedrooms, an idyllic way to cap off a fun-filled day as you prepare for a new one. If you fancy exploring your local area, take a stroll to the nearby St Combs Beach, which is a mere stone's throw away from the property. If you'd like to take a break from cooking one evening, take a short trip to nearby Fraserburgh where you can dine at either The Captain's Table or Beach Bar. Peterhead is also nearby, home to the tourist attractions of Peterhead Prison Museum and the Buchanhaven Heritage Centre, as well as the Craigewan Links golf club for those looking to improve their golf swing. For those looking to make a day of it, the port city of Aberdeen is well worth the car journey as you can find a plethora of fun things to do, including roaming the scenic landscapes of Seaton Park and the Donmouth Local Nature Reserve, strolling along the Cove Coastal Path, or maybe even spend an afternoon problem-solving at The Locked Door Escape Games. Book a stay at Bella's Beach Cottage to enjoy all of this and so much more.
Fraserburgh is located near the mouth of the Moray Firth, just along the north-east coast from Aberdeen. Although though it is still a bustling fishing port, the number of boats has drastically dropped over time, even if modern boats are much larger than those of the past. The town itself is a true community, complete with a potent football team and a stunning 18-hole golf course that, unbelievably, houses the seventh-oldest club in the history of the world, founded in 1777. Visitors are always welcome at the contemporary clubhouse, where they can relax in the bar, dining room, and lounge spaces that have views of the course and sand dunes. The Scottish Lighthouses Museum, located in Fraserburgh, is well worth a visit and provides a thorough overview of the development of lighthouses in Scotland's northern regions. A lovely seaside community with a long history and a distinguished beach is Fraserburgh. The 18-hole Inverallochy golf course is accessible by foot from Fraserburgh. There are several wildlife-friendly areas nearby, including the rspb Loch of Strathbeg, one of the best in the UK, and the 230-acre parkland of Aden Country Park.
