Auchinbo offers a wonderful location for a secluded family holiday and has good access both to the hills and estate trails. You ll find plenty of scenic walks directly from the back door but you are only 12 miles from the local town of Huntly. For fishing enthusiasts, the River Deveron (4 miles) offers some of the best fishing in Scotland; permits can be purchased from FishPal. The property lies within 'Castle country' of Aberdeenshire, the closest being Huntly Castle (6 miles) and Duff House (19.5 miles). Take a tour of GlenDronach Distillery tasting some of their sherry matured whiskies and don't forget to pick up a bottle of your favourite!
