Guests consistently commend the property's cleanliness, comfortable furnishings, and thoughtful touches, including a welcome pack. The location is ideal for both relaxation and exploring local attractions, with the added charm of wildlife sightings. While most feedback is overwhelmingly positive, a few minor maintenance issues are noted, particularly with the bathroom facilities.
Reviewers consistently describe the cottage as 'spotless' and 'immaculate', indicating a very high standard of cleanliness. The frequent mention of the property's pristine condition supports a near-perfect score.
The location is frequently highlighted for its superb views and proximity to local sights and attractions. The scenic setting and wildlife opportunities contribute to a high score, although one mention of unexpected noise from a nearby road slightly impacts the rating.
Guests rave about the comfortable furnishings, particularly the beds, and the cosy atmosphere of the cottage. The property is described as warm and inviting, which justifies a high comfort score.
The cottage is praised for being well-equipped and providing a 'home from home' experience. However, there are some concerns about the bathroom facilities, including a persistent issue with the toilet seat and the quality of the shower, which affects the score.
The welcome pack and provisions for dogs are frequently mentioned, reflecting the owners' thoughtfulness. However, it is politely noted that such gifts, while appreciated, may not be guaranteed for every stay.

The accommodation was excellent, with comfortable beds and an extremely well-equipped kitchen that had everything we needed. The views of the loch from the front of the house are truly stunning â we could have easily spent hours just gazing out of the window, soaking in the scenery. While the weather wasnât always on our side, we still managed to enjoy some fantastic walks, both around the cottage and further afield. For anyone travelling with a dog, Pier View is very pet-friendly. This was our first time exploring this part of Scotland, and it certainly wonât be our last â weâre already looking forward to coming back!

The cottage is gorgeous and the attention to detail shows how much the owners care about their property and the comfort of their guests. The view over Loch Long from the lounge and front bedrooms is stunning and we enjoyed seeing the most amazing sunrises. Thereâs lots to see and do in the area and Blairmore itself is a delight.
