Built in 1837 and boasting many of the original period features, Stonefield Castle is an example of Scottish baronial architecture. Standing high on the famous Kintyre peninsula, the castle offers far-reaching, panoramic views over Loch Fyne.
All rooms have an en suite bathroom, tea/coffee making facilities, and a TV. Many rooms overlook the Loch Fyne. Guests can also relax in the traditional, wood-panelled lounges or unwind on leisurely walks through the 60 acres of woodland grounds.
The award-winning restaurant at Stonefield Castle has stunning views of the Loch and offers traditional Scottish specialities. Ingredients are sourced locally and there is also an extensive selection of fine wines to compliment the menu.
Situated above the picturesque fishing village of Tarbert, the castle has undergone substantial refurbishment. It is now a 32-bedroom hotel offering free Wi-Fi, and free parking.
