Little Laight is praised for its stunning views, peacefulness, and spaciousness, offering a comfortable and clean retreat. Guests enjoy the surrounding wildlife and the property's seclusion, though some mention the rough access track. The lack of Wi-Fi and some minor maintenance issues are noted, but overall, guests are charmed by the cottage's tranquility and return for multiple visits.
The property is consistently described as clean and well-kept, with guests appreciating the tidiness and comfort. A few minor comments about specific cleaning details prevent a perfect score.
The location scores highly for its breathtaking views and serene environment. It's remote and ideal for those seeking peace and quiet, though the challenging access track is noted.
Guests find the cottage comfortable, with cosy beds and a warm atmosphere. The spaciousness and tranquility add to the comfort level, though some guests suggest improvements in outdoor seating.
Facilities are generally well-received, with a well-equipped kitchen and ample space. However, several reviews mention issues with appliances and a desire for Wi-Fi, leading to a slightly lower score.
While guests are pleased with the property's offerings, there is no mention of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness from the hosts. Therefore, this category cannot be scored.

Stranraer became a Burgh of Barony in 1596 and a Royal Burgh in 1617. Stranraer lies on the shores of Loch Ryan on the northern side of the isthmus joining the Rhins of Galloway to the mainland. There are many shops and cafes to while away an hour or two and the Stranraer Town Trail explains some of the fascinating history. We like that the property is so remote and very peaceful. The weather was not as good on our visit, but we still had a brilliant time with lots to do. The property was spotless and enough room for the 6 of us (4 adults and 2 children). We liked watching the wildlife around us; baby birds fledged while we were there. We saw birds of prey, sheep and a calf was born during our stay. The views are beautiful from the property. The track to the cottage is steep but the children felt it was part of the adventure! We also chose to walk up which was beautiful.

Large and bright, clean and comfortable. Everything you need for a relaxing holiday. The views are amazing from every window. Children had plenty of space to run around with the dogs. The road up is not a problem if you take it slow we had 2 estate cars with no issues. I would recommend this fabulous cottage to anyone for peace and quiet and great base for exploring the local area.
