Springfield is well positioned for exploring the adjoining area and the popular beach at Sandyhills is only about a five and a half mile drive, as are the popular seaside villages of Kippford and Rockcliffe providing easy access to the Solway Coast walks and also water sport facilities. The area is a mecca for those looking for outdoor pursuits with numerous golf courses including an eighteen hole links championship course at Southerness and local riding stables offer hacks and schooling. The only problem I had with Springfield was the car parking it was not level at the cottage to steep

Had a fab holiday in this lovely house, had everything we needed, well equiped kitchen, comfy beds, lovely views and the garden was beautiful - our girls loved exploring & we just loved relaxing on the decking in the sun! Great stay, and we'll definitely be back, thank you!
