This spacious detached bungalow is situated on the edge of this pretty village and 3 miles from the first of many sandy beaches, with nice views across the countryside from the rear. Furnished and equipped to a good standard, with its large living room and kitchen, it has an airy feel. It is an excellent base to explore the Whithorn peninsula, with its spectacular coastlines in every direction. The area is steeped in history with sites dating back to the 5th century. Visit the nearby book town, Wigtown, a lowland distillery and two golf courses. Shop 100 yards, pub 3 miles and restaurant 4 miles.

This was our 4th stay at Lynwood we love the bungalow, it has everything you need for a comfortable stay. We shall be going again in 2023, we have plans for next year but we will be booking again ready for our next visit. Nice quite break away from the stress of the busy outside world.A cafe in whithorn would be nice save travelling 5 miles to the steam packet Inn.Garden is ideal for a pet,The dongle was not working for us but the owner sorted it out for us.Some coat hooks in the entrance porch would be a useful addition.All said and done a very relaxing holiday,the owners live nearby,nice people and very helpful and informative.

A very well appointed cottage. Nice village with shop etc. Cottage could benefit from some updating of the decor but everything worked well. Lovely enclosed garden. Nice part of Scotland with lovely scenery.
