East Cottage - Tarvit is a well-received holiday rental with guests praising its cleanliness, tranquil location, and cosy comfort. The property's beautiful grounds and proximity to local amenities are frequently mentioned, alongside the warm welcome from staff. Some minor issues with maintenance and facilities were noted, but these do not detract from the overall positive experience.
Most guests found the cottage to be very clean and tidy, contributing to a comfortable stay. However, there was an isolated report of the property being in an unacceptable state of cleanliness, which seems to be an exception rather than the norm.
The location is highly praised for its tranquillity, beautiful grounds, and convenience for exploring the area. Guests appreciate the peaceful setting and proximity to local attractions.
The cottage is generally regarded as cosy and comfortable, with a few guests noting issues with hard mattresses and the property being cold upon entry. Despite these comments, the overall sentiment towards the comfort of the cottage is positive.
Facilities are deemed adequate, with some minor criticisms regarding the size of the TV, parking space, and occasional maintenance issues. The presence of a modern kitchen and the inclusion of WiFi are appreciated, but there are suggestions for improvements in certain areas.
While some guests mention the provision of dog treats and the convenience of a key safe system, there is insufficient information to assess the overall thoughtfulness of the property's offerings. As such, the score is set to null, and it should be noted that gifts are not guaranteed.

We had a wonderful week, the dogs had a great time running through the woodland walks all around and the big house was beautiful as were the grounds, if your looking for a very quiet getaway this is the place

Well furnished with a modern kitchen, plenty of crockery and cutlery. It took no time for the heating to warm up on the colder evenings. A shower over a bath is always going to be an issue, sorry the floor kept getting wet. But would choose a National Trust property again.

I wish we were able to stay longer. Cottage is perfect for a quiet stay and surrounding estate is beautiful. Weâll definitely recommend the place to others.
